Using Backup Database app

The Backup Database app allows the user to quickly create a Sage 100 Contractor SQL Database backup and send to Zoom Geeks.

This app does not require you to log into the server. You just need is to log into Sage 100 Contractor and have permissions to open the 1-3 Jourmal Transaction screen. This is how you use it:

  • Launch zMaxOneClick
  • Launch and log into Sage 100 Contractor.
  • With zMaxOneClick running, navigate to the 1-3 screen and click on the square blue button with a "z" label.
  • Click on the Backup Database app (as shown below).

  • Click “Yes” on the confirmation message.

  • Let the progress bar finish.

  • When the process is done, you will be given the option to Upload to Zoom. Click “Yes”.

  • You will get a progress bar on the “Uploading Backup” screen.

  • Click “Ok” and then email the person that requested the backup.
