Description

I launched zMaxOneClick just fine but all I see if the zMaxOneClick screen with the message, "Working... zMaxOneClick is waiting for Sage 100 Contractor" (as shown in Figure 1).

Cause

zMaxOneClick can't identify Sage 100 Contractor.
Before zMaxOneClick can show the zMaxOneClick ribbon bar and apps on any Sage 100 Contractor screen or access the Sage 100 Contractor database, zMaxOneClick must know that Sage 100 Contractor is running and what Sage 100 Contractor screen, if any, is open.

Resolution

Resolution Option #1 - You DON'T have Sage 100 Contractor running.

  1. Launch Sage 100 Contractor
  2. Launch zMaxOneClick (if it is not already running).
  3. Navigate to one of these locations:
    1. Home and Resource Activity Center tab (as shown in Figure 2 - "FRANKLIN\SAGE100CON" is the Server Name and SQL instance shown in this example).

      Figure 2

NOTE: Sometimes it will take zMaxOneClick a few seconds to identity the Sage 100 Contractor path from the Home and Resource Activity Center tab OR you many need to click on the Sage 100 Contractor desktop or screen and then back on the zMaxOneClick but when zMaxOneClick does identify Sage 100 Contractor it will show the Sage 100 Contractor information on the zMaxOneClick screen (as shown in Figure 3).

    2. One of the Sage 100 Contractor screens (as shown in Figure 4).

      Figure 4

NOTE: the Sage Activity Center tabs don't show the Sage 100 Contractor location (as shown in Figure 5) so you cannot use these screens to "show" zMaxOneClick where Sage 100 Contractor is located.

Resolution Option #2 - You DO have Sage 100 Contractor running.

  1. Launch zMaxOneClick (if it is not already running).
  2. Navigate to one of these locations:
    1. Home and Resource Activity Center tab (as shown in Figure 6 - "FRANKLIN\SAGE100CON" is the Server Name and SQL instance shown in this example).

      Figure 6

NOTE: Sometimes it will take zMaxOneClick a few seconds to identity the Sage 100 Contractor path from the Home and Resource Activity Center tab OR you many need to click on the Sage 100 Contractor desktop or screen and then back on the zMaxOneClick but when zMaxOneClick does identify Sage 100 Contractor it will show the Sage 100 Contractor information on the zMaxOneClick screen (as shown in Figure 7)

    2. One of the Sage 100 Contractor screens (as shown in Figure 8).

      Figure 8

NOTE: the Sage Activity Center tabs don't show the Sage 100 Contractor location (as shown in Figure 9) so you cannot use these screens to "show" zMaxOneClick where Sage 100 Contractor is located.
